Thinking Voter is a nonpartisan Florida 2026 voter guide.

It is published by Hassan Seguias, an individual. It is not a product of any company or campaign.

In short, your privacy is respected.

  • Your ZIP code and districts never leave your device.
  • I do not sell your data, and the site has no ads.
  • The only personal information I receive is what you type into the corrections form.
  • I use Google Analytics to count visits.

I do not sell or rent your information. I do not run advertising, and I do not use advertising trackers on this site.

Your ZIP code, districts, and Pocket Ballot

When you enter your ZIP code, the lookup runs in your browser using files the site provides. Your ZIP code and districts are never sent to me or to anyone else, and they are never placed in a web address.

Your browser keeps this information so the site can work:

  • Your ZIP code, districts, city, and counties are stored in your browser for the current tab, and on your device once you save a first pick to your Pocket Ballot.
  • Your Pocket Ballot picks are stored on your device only.
  • A display setting for the unbiased view is stored on your device.

This data clears when you clear your browser data. The Save and Print buttons create an image or page on your device. The Share button uses your device’s share feature. None of these send your picks to me.

Corrections form

If you submit a correction, I receive what you enter: the candidate and race, whether you are a candidate, a voter, or someone else, your name, your email, the issue, your message, any source link, the page you were on, and the time. The form is processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which delivers it to me. Your ZIP code and districts are not included. I use this information only to review the correction and reply if needed.

Google Analytics

To learn how many people use the site, I use Google Analytics. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and how you arrived at the site. Google processes this under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Your ZIP code, districts, and Pocket Ballot picks are not shared with Google Analytics. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most hosts, Cloudflare may log technical information such as your IP address and the pages you request.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page.
