Jorge Antonio Malavet is a candidate running for the Florida House of Representatives to represent District 43. Malavet is a retired U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer with 20 years of military service, having advanced from an enlisted sailor to a submarine department head and executive officer. Following his retirement from active duty, he spent over a decade in federal administration, working as an administrative officer for the USDA and as an immigration officer, chief of staff, and regional branch chief for DHS/USCIS. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management of Human Resources, a Master of Public Administration (MPA), and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Barry University School of Law.
