Joe Strada

Joe Strada is a candidate running for the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Florida's 11th Congressional District. Strada is a self-made HVAC and home-services entrepreneur. He started his business career at age 19 by purchasing a donut shop with his father, later working as a salesman before founding Strada Services in 2003. He has since built the firm into one of the largest privately held residential electrical, air conditioning, and plumbing companies in the United States, employing over 4,000 people across 13 states with annual revenues exceeding $1.1 billion. Forbes estimates that if elected, his personal net worth would likely make him the wealthiest member of the U.S. Congress

James Pericola

Over more than 30 years, James Pericola has built a career in public service — as a Presidential appointee in the Clinton Administration, a congressional staff member, an attorney, and a senior government affairs executive. Abortion and reproductive policy

This Leftist view is a lie. There is no right to abortion in the Constitution.

These cases of abortion jurisprudence are constitutionally unjustified and pernicious. They prevent elected branches of government to address the needs of mothers, children, and families. Instead, mother and child are pitted against each other.

There is no right to privacy to commit murder. Indeed, conspirancy to commit murder is a crime. In my opinion, the best way to determine whether or not an action should be legal is to gauge its adherence to justice. It is blatantly unjust, however, to disregard the rights of human beings in utero.

Elections and voting

When members of Congress make suspiciously well-timed trades, the American people deserve answers. Joe supports serious investigations into potential congressional insider trading and real accountability whenever a public official uses privileged information or public office for personal financial gain.

Joe supports firm congressional term limits so new leaders can rise, new ideas can be heard, and public officials remember that they work for the people. Experience has value, but Washington was never supposed to become a lifetime career.

James will fight to end gerrymandering, pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, and defend our democracy from MAGA attacks.

Having said all the foregoing, better gun-safety measures (mandatory safety courses) are advisable, at least to prevent accidents (e.g. accidental discharges) – analogous to drivers’ ed for car safety.

America has severe social problems that need to be addressed instead of more gun control legislation.

The U.S. Constitution’s 2nd Amendment codifies a pre-existing, natural right of self-defense, as upheld by the Supreme Court; a hypothetical repeal of the 2nd Amendment would be impossible to achieve. Read full quote

Expand access to affordable, high-quality healthcare by protecting the Affordable Care Act.

Oppose any cuts or privatization of Social Security and Medicare, and push to let Medicare negotiate lower prescription drug costs for seniors.

In Washington, Ralph Groves will also strive to prevent tyrannical vaccine mandates as a response to future pandemics.

This monograph makes the following points for policymakers to consider: America’s social problems – caused by fractured communities as well as the decline of family cohesion and morals – are the underlying causes of “gun violence”, not widespread gun ownership. Read full quote

Taxes and government spending

Joe supports a balanced budget amendment requiring Washington to live within its means, confront wasteful spending, and make honest decisions about national priorities. The national debt clock should be a warning, not a scoreboard.

Work to eliminate income taxes for those making less than $100,000 a year and cut taxes for middle-class families.

As we are Libertarians, we acknowledge the official platform of our party concerning abortion: "Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration."
