Bill Partington

Bill Partington is an Ormond Beach native, attorney, and longtime public servant running for state representative. He serves as an assistant public defender and felony division chief and has previously worked as a private attorney, assistant state attorney, and assistant public defender. As mayor, he has held leadership roles with the Florida and Volusia Leagues of Cities and received multiple Home Rule Hero Awards for legislative advocacy. He and his wife, Lori, have three daughters and remain active in their local church and community.

Joseph "Joe" Hannoush is a candidate running for the Florida House of Representatives to represent District 2. Hannoush is a long-term Florida resident of nearly 40 years and serves as a board member on the Ormond Beach Budget Advisory Board. He is also the Region 7 Representative for the , covering Flagler, Putnam, and Volusia counties. A perennial candidate, Hannoush has previously run for the state legislature and the U.S. House of Representatives across four prior election cycles (2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024). He frames his candidacy around the profile of an independent, "Average Joe" political outsider who is not bought by corporate lobbyists or beholden to major party leadership lines.
